Drawing on many years of experience with leading British and international fabric houses, I understand which collections work best for different styles, applications and budgets. Rather than overwhelming you with hundreds of options, I curate a focused selection specifically for your project.

Project fees

Every bespoke curtain and blind project begins with a paid consultation and fabric-selection service.

One room: £150
Each additional room: £125
Larger projects: quoted individually

The fee covers the home consultation, initial measuring, fabric research and selection, ordering samples directly to your home, preparation of your proposal and the subsequent quotation.

Part or all of the fee may be credited against your furnishing order, depending on the scope and value of the commission. Any credit will be confirmed in your quotation.

How it works

Home consultation

Every project begins with a visit to your home to discuss your requirements, preferred style and budget. I take the measurements needed to prepare your proposal and record the colours, finishes and existing furnishings within the room, so that the recommended fabrics work naturally with the wider scheme. I will also advise on the most appropriate style of curtains or blinds, together with suitable headings, linings, tracks or poles.

Fabric proposal

Following the consultation, I will prepare a concise presentation with my recommended fabrics and window-treatment specification. Fabric samples will be ordered directly to your home, allowing you to assess the colours, patterns and textures in the room’s natural light.

Quotation

Once you have received the samples and confirmed your preferred fabric, I will prepare a detailed quotation covering fabric, making, linings, tracks or poles and installation.

Making and installation

Once your order is confirmed, a final technical check-measure will be carried out. Your curtains and blinds will then be made to order, with poles and tracks prepared for installation. Everything will be professionally fitted, and your curtains carefully hung and dressed.

Quality and finish

Curtains

Your curtains are hand-finished using traditional sewing methods and can be lined, blackout lined or interlined, depending on the fabric, room and practical requirements.

A wide choice of headings is available, from traditional pinch pleats to contemporary wave styles, fitted to carefully specified poles or tracks. Pelmets and bespoke voile curtains can also be supplied where appropriate.

Every element is selected in response to your brief, including the heading, lining, fullness and hardware.

Blinds

Roman blinds are made and finished by hand, with the face fabric discreetly secured to the lining and horizontal rods to avoid visible rows of stitching across the front.

Roman and roller blinds are supplied with robust chain-operated mechanisms and manufactured to comply with current UK blind-safety requirements.
